FAS231 Reflections

The purpose of this website is to breakdown some of the readings for this class in an attempt to provide a broader look at how these readings help to develop students understanding of Franco-American women and their experience both historically and in modern times.  I decided to approach the material by categorizing it into themes that helped to form my interpretations of the course material.  To navigate this site simply follow the links!  I would like to emphasize that I realize a topic as immense, diverse and changing as Franco-American Women's Experience is not easily defined or categorized.  This is just one opinion, one interpretation of the materials, and a presentation of how I formed my understanding of the topics that we covered.  Please realize that this list is far from complete and that I welcome any opinions and additions anyone would like to offer!
