Jinel, one of the guys who was with us the week we spent at the Sant Xaverian in Port-Au-Prince is actually from Pandyassou and is home for a few weeks. He has been most gracious in introducing us to people in the community as well as showing us some of the sights. One of the places he took us in the waterfall at Bassam Zim. Every Haitian we met along the way told us not to swim there because the waterfall has a bad spirit. For a place with a bad spirit it sure is pretty.
